People work in organizations not just to earn a livelihood, but also to realize their dream of achieving something big and at the same time earn a profit for the organization. Organizations have unique styles of working and that is what contributes to organizational culture. It is the ideologies, beliefs, values, and principles of an organization that gives shape to its culture. It takes time to shape up. Nevertheless, it has a strong influence on the behavior of the employees both within and outside the organization. This certainly indicates that organizational culture is important.   • It is the culture of an organization that decides how employees within an organization interact with each other. A healthy culture motivates employees to do better work and also stay loyal to the organization.

Though they do so to earn appreciation and recognition, this can translate to higher productivity and efficiency of the organization.

Individuals in such organizations have a clear idea about their roles and responsibilities and this gives them a sense of direction. Employees become motivated to accomplish tasks ahead of the deadline.
  • It is the culture of distinguishes organizations from one another. In fact, it is the organizational culture that can help create a brand image for the organization. It helps the organization to create its unique identity.
  • It is an organizational culture that brings employees to a common platform. In a healthy environment, employees are treated equally and nobody in the workplace feels neglected. In a conducive atmosphere, employees can adjust to the organization well and deliver their best.
  • A conducive culture helps employees unite despite them having different backgrounds, attitudes, and mentalities. It gives rise to a sense of unity. Organizations that require all employees, irrespective of their designations, to attend office on time can promote a culture of punctuality. This can benefit not only the organization but also the employees in the long term.
  • In an organization where there is a set culture, implementation of policies is not a problem. Even new employees try their best to get acquainted with the work culture and work better.
  • A healthy organizational culture also promotes healthy relationships among employees. In such a culture, nobody treats work as a burden. Instead, they try to mold themselves and attune themselves to the culture.
  • Since a conducive organizational culture motivates employees, it can get the best from each employee. In such a culture the management is quite strict about the reporting system so that employees irrespective of their busy schedule send their reports at the end of every day. In fact, people need not be forced to report; they can do it themselves. Employees imbibe a habit that can make them successful in the workplace.
