ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us for an insightful webinar with industry expert Paul Flogstad to delve into the nuanced world of rental housing, exploring the critical disparities between tenants and occupants. In the realm of leasing, the terms "tenant" and "occupant" are often used interchangeably, but understanding their distinctions is paramount for landlords, property owners, and managers.

This session by Paul will dissect the legal implications and responsibilities associated with these roles. Tenants, bound by a contractual agreement with the landlord, shoulder rent payments and adhere to lease terms. On the other hand, occupants, with permission to reside in the rental, may have distinct responsibilities and protections.
