Onboarding is important because it introduces the employee to the company’s culture and expectations and gives the employee the vital training and information needed to succeed in their new position.

Gallup research indicates that organizations who fail to implement robust onboarding and engagement practices are likely to experience lower levels of job satisfaction and motivation, and higher levels of turnover. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, organizations now must quickly adapt their present onboarding program to accommodate remote new hires. 

Successful virtual onboarding of new employees, to get them quickly up to speed and productive, requires these three actions:

  1. upfront planning;
  2. precise coordination; and
  3. the proper technology and tools.

Therefore, this webinar will provide organizations with guidelines to implement an effective remote onboarding program as well as provide their managers, supervisors, and team leaders with the best practices to onboard and manage their new hires who work remotely.

A strategic onboarding plan can dramatically impact your business. Investing in a well-planned onboarding process, whether executed in person or virtual, will help reduce turnover and increase new hire effectiveness. It also makes the new employee as well as the company confident they made the right choice and confident they can succeed in their new job.

Mastering remote onboarding is crucial and will ensure new team members are comfortable and can thrive in their roles. An effective onboarding process will set the tone for new employee's experience with their manager and the company, so it pays to invest in making it a great one!
