ABOUT THE EVENT

Workplace discrimination complaints are not slowing down - they're increasing, and the cost of mishandling them has never been higher. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) processed more than 88,000 new discrimination charges and resolved over 90,000 charges in FY 2025 alone, while securing hundreds of millions of dollars in monetary relief for employees. Recent high-profile discrimination and retaliation verdicts have also resulted in multi-million-dollar awards against employers and even prominent HR organizations, underscoring the serious consequences of flawed investigations.

At the same time, the legal landscape continues to evolve, with changing EEOC enforcement priorities and increased scrutiny of workplace discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and DEI-related employment decisions. Employers that fail to investigate complaints promptly, thoroughly, and fairly face significant risks, including litigation, regulatory action, reputational damage, employee turnover, and costly settlements.

When a discrimination or harassment complaint lands on your desk, do you know exactly what to do next?

This practical webinar will provide a step-by-step guide to conducting legally compliant, thorough, and defensible workplace investigations. Participants will learn how to gather facts, interview witnesses effectively, navigate sensitive privacy concerns, address "he said-she said" scenarios, and prepare investigative reports that can withstand management scrutiny and potential litigation.

Whether you're handling allegations of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, this program will equip you with the practical skills and confidence needed to conduct fair, objective, and legally sound investigations.
