Complete NSPIRE Overview and Scoring Explained
- A comprehensive breakdown of the NSPIRE inspection process including the different impacts on various programs such as Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), and Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs such as HOME, HTF, CoC, etc. For the properties that receive a scored REAC inspection – the full scoring process will be explained in detail.
Differences between UPCS and NSPIRE, Final Rules and Non-scoring Deficiencies

- If you lose more than 30 points in the Unit inspectable area, you fail the NSPIRE inspection.
