On 2/2/24, HUD updated its policy guidance on implementing HOTMA and has promised to issue additional guidance and FAQs. As of 8/1/2024, HUD has not issued either of these nor have they released the new forms for comment or provided the software vendors with a new MAT Guide for 2.0.3.A TRACS. This course will include a summary all the HOTMA changes and discuss the status of HUD’s implementation everything that is known about what, how and when to implement the numerous HOTMA changes. This course is a must for managing agents, owners, compliance managers, HUD account executives and PBCAs. After completing this course, Owners and Agents will have a better understanding of what they can do now, what they can’t do now, and the factors to consider when deciding whether or not to implement some of the HOTMA changes without the new software. For site staff, this overview will serve as an introduction to HOTMA while they continue to perform HUD Occupancy work in accordance with the 4350.3 until HOTMA is fully implemented.
