Many properties are concerned and confused about the laws/rulings regarding leasing to those who have been incarcerated for felonies.  Shoppers and testers pretending to be felons call and visit apartment communities; some to see if the laws are honored, some are hoping for financial gain if we are deemed discriminatory. Real cases will be shared as well as education and solutions.

The LGBTQA+ community often suffers from discrimination, often deliberate and sometimes due to lack of education and misunderstandings from property managers.  Each category will be described and terminology explained.

Many cases of harassment of women by housing providers are in the news.  Huge fines have been assessed.  Violence against women has increased in the past couple of years.  Learn what responsibilities property management has in these cases.
