ABOUT THE EVENT

Staying on top of the recent changes in federal agency guidance on COVID-19 is a difficult job for HR professionals as demonstrated by the CDC’s most recent change in guidance in which they took an about-face and declared that masks are no longer required for vaccinated individuals.  However, this guidance left as many questions as answers.  For instance, does this apply in the workplace?  If so, how can employers determine if their employees are vaccinated or not?  Does it violate the Americans with Disabilities Act or GINA to ask for employees to show you their CDC vaccination cards?  Does this cause discrimination or harassment against those who continue to wear a mask when others in the workplace assume this is because they are against vaccinations?  The answers to these and many other questions will be answered by employment law and COVID-19 expert, Melissa Fleischer, Esq. in this informative live webinar.

What You Will Learn:

  • What are the new mask-wearing rules announced by the CDC?
  • How can you best enforce these in your workplace?
  • Can you still decide to require masks if you so choose?
  • How do you determine who has and has not been vaccinated?
  • Does asking an employee for their vaccination card violate the law?
  • Should you keep a copy of the vaccination card or just review it?
  • And much more…..
