Did you know that employment-related lawsuits can cost employers tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees alone—even when they ultimately prevail? According to employment law experts, wrongful termination and discrimination claims remain among the most common employment-related lawsuits filed against employers each year.
When it comes to employee terminations, a single mistake can expose your organization to costly legal disputes, damaged employee relations, and significant liability. Are your policies strong enough to protect your organization? Are your managers documenting performance issues properly? Could your termination process withstand legal scrutiny if challenged?
Employee terminations are among the most difficult and legally sensitive decisions employers face. This informative one-hour live webinar will help employers, HR professionals, and managers understand how to navigate employee terminations effectively while minimizing risk and protecting their organizations.
Join us to learn the most common mistakes employers make during the termination process and discover practical strategies for avoiding them. You'll gain a better understanding of the laws that govern employee terminations, how proactive planning can help protect your organization from future claims, and the policies and procedures that provide the strongest defense against liability.
This session will also cover best practices for handling terminations, documenting performance issues, applying workplace policies consistently, and preparing termination communications that can withstand legal scrutiny.
Whether you are responsible for making termination decisions, advising managers, or ensuring compliance with employment laws, this webinar will provide practical guidance to help you reduce risk and handle employee terminations with confidence.
