ABOUT THE EVENT

The EIV income discrepancies with Public Housing Program is as simple as saying EIV. We will discuss the basic knowledge of the EIV system and show participants how to “read” the Income Discrepancy Report and all the other standalone reports used when determining the rent responsibility for the resident, The objective of the EIV is to reduce administrative errors, fraud, waste and abuse.  Learn the Threshold levels and Analysis, Actuals vs. Annualized Last Quarter, and how EIV comes up with those negative and positive numbers utilizing the Income Validation Tool (IVT) and its reports.  Participants will learn valid or invalid discrepancies and the basics of how to investigate, document and resolve.
