ABOUT THE EVENT

The Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA), originally enacted in 2016, continues to reshape compliance across public housing and Section 8 programs. Recent HUD rulemaking implements key provisions from Sections 102, 103, and 104, introducing significant updates to income calculations, asset rules, recertifications, and eligibility standards. This session focuses on how these changes impact day-to-day operations; to the new deadline of January 1, 2027. Participants will gain a clear, practical understanding of how to apply these evolving standards in real-world compliance scenarios.
